For people with a motor neuron disease it can be difficult to enjoy a vacation. With this project a walking aid was designed that is both portable and pain relieving. In this specific case the user encountered foot drop on long walks. Foot drop is a gait abnormality in which the dropping of the forefoot happens due to weakness, irritation or damage. By identifying the problems for the user a walking aid was design that was simple and effective.
