In this group project the goal was to optimize an office chair assembly line. The product was divided into smaller subassemblies. Each subassembly has a different manufacturing time. Other parameters that were taken into account when making this simulation were; product dimensions, defect rate and the parts/subassemblies it was made off.

The finished product was an substantially improved assembly line that decreased unnecessary stock and decreased idle time at different stations. This resulted in a higher production output.
